A New Fuse of Pop and Fashion In Sydney

With is music forming the base-tracks for Rachel Taylor’s new film Cedar Boys, Ray Isaac is making a name for himself throughout Australian music and fashion.

No stranger to the music industry himself, his song I Don’t Give A Damn was released through Ministry of Sound in 2007.  His follow-up track Such a Fool (EXM Records) is an all-consuming lyrical narrative that morphs quickly into a raw disclosure of modest insight. Thanks to these releases, the producers of Cedar Boys were inspired and handpick Ray’s tunes straight away.

His signature style expresses pain, love and redemption that moves fiercely between fear and functional and has placed him in a position to dictate his own brand of pop-infused soul.

While he’s not busy in the recording studio or performing at an exclusive function, Ray is investing his love for DJing at Sydney’s top bars and clubs.  Thanks to a soulful Las Vegas bravado, a strong sense for fashion and an ear for everything danceable, Ray is a force to be reckoned with.

2009 is the year to cement Ray Isaac’s place in an ever-changing music and fashion scene in which he has an insatiable hunger for, yet still avoiding contained statements of boundaries.

Below,  Ray can be seen modelling the latest men’s fashions from Stand.

Stand is a clothing label born in Las Vegas. In 2003, when Paul Field, CEO and creator of Stand was surrounded by the bright lights of Sunset Strip he thought of only one, simple, thing “clothes”. And from there, the Stand label was born to bring Vegas-style-glitter back to the fashionable haunts of Sydney.
